Restaurante Parreirinha (Pa-rey-ring-here) is charming spot known for its tongue-twisting name, affectionately called Restaurante Parr and Restaurante Paraanha by regulars. Meaning “little grapevine the original La Rochelle location had avine that produced fruit until recently. Founded in July 1975 by two brothers-in-law, it was once the Sixth Street Police Station. We’ve brought some original cell bars to our Melrose location, preserving nearly five decades of memories! Parreirinha is more than a restaurant; it’s where strangers become lifelong friends.
What makes this venue special?
This venue is situated upstairs in the restaurant and features a charming balcony alongside a room adorned with wooden paneling on the ceiling, making it easy to customize decor to fit any theme. It's beautifully versatile, dressed up or left in its natural white aesthetic with ivy overhead. This room offers a lot, and the food is exceptional, making it the perfect place for a baby shower, milestone birthday, or engagement party. Plus, the owners are incredibly welcoming and kind!
